Jul et Mad introduce their new fragrance named Aqua Sextius, which will premiere at the perfume expo Esxence in Milan, taking place at La Triennale de Milano from March 20 to 23, 2014. This edition is characteristic for its luminous compsoition, whose light green liquid reflects a breath of spring. The name Aqua Sextius originates from Latin name Aix-en-Provence, where owners of the house, Julien and Madalina, got married, have their home and enjoy love. The composition starts with sparkling and luminous citrus zests of bergamot, mandarin, orange and grapefruit, which are cooled down additionally with tea notes and powdery mimosa blossom. The heart highlights sea notes mixed with scents of white flowers, fig and pine tree resin. The base is woody and resin-like, composed of labdanum, amber, cedar, guaiac wood, oak moss and musk. The blend evokes fresh forest notes and the fragrant earth of Provence. The fragrance is signed by perfumer Cecile Zarokian. Jul et Mad Aqua Sextius arrives in the characteristic bottle form and is available as 50 extrait de parfum. The owners also introduced special travel packaging as 20 ml named Le Compagnon, which is also ideal for those who want to test the fragrance before purchasing a large bottle. Le Compagnon bottle will be available starting with the month of May 2014.
Top notes are Grapefruit, Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, Tea, Orange and Mimosa; middle notes are Sea Notes, Fig, Pine Tree Needles and White Flowers; base notes are Musk, Oakmoss, Cedar, Amber, Labdanum and Guaiac Wood.
