    Old Fashioned by By Kilian is a Oriental Fougere fragrance for Women & Men. 

    Only better with age, Old Fashioned is our new scent with whiskey accords inspired by the complex taste structure of an 18-year-aged single malt. This perfume transports direct to the Scottish Highlands, fireside inside a family estate, layered with generations, evoking the purest excellent whiskey: a single malt. Old Fashioned is a perfume from another era, a modern refinement in scent, like the taste of an exceptional Scotch whiskey in an old-fashioned delight. The perfume: The fragrance opens like an incredible sip of Wheat Absolute and the slightly floral liquored aspect of Davana Essence. It then leads into a complex of ultraconcentrated Cedarwood essence and Everlasting absolute, with long-lasting notes of Styrax and Tolu Balm to suggest aging barrels and the misty wooded moors of Scottish lore.

    Dry Whiskey

    From my sample:

    A very dry whiskey accord, not sweet or cloying at all. This reminds me of Sham's Oud, despite the lack of Oud (no doubt the Styrax and Balsam). It's hard to judge sillage and staying power from a sample, but it certainly didn't jump out as being overly loud or long lasting. The price, however, is borderline absurd.

    Gorgeous scent with mediocre projection and staying power.

    It’s sweet without being cloying and very natural smelling. Not so boozy that people at work think I’m drunk. Beautiful.

    Perfection

    This scent costs a fortune (for me) but according to the ads and notes it sounded like it’d be right up my boyfriend’s alley. He’s now getting into fragrance and while I don’t mind saving to get it for him, I needed to know he liked it! I had him try a bunch of samples including this and this was his favorite! Boozy goodness, my next fragrance choice will be something with cherry and/or plum because they’d pair perfectly for this. Actually excited to gift the full-size!
