    Avignon by Comme des Garcons is an Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. 

     

    Each member of the Incense collection of Comme des Garcons pays homage to an ancient city that maintains the merits and heritage of the world’s top religions. Avignon goes for catholic Christianity. A straightforward blend of incense with prominent olibanum and myrrh in the center of a resinous and crips dry woody spicy composition. Bold, smoky, dark, preserve, and pleasantly brutal.

    Calming scent

    I purchased a sample vial of Avignon and liked it right away. I ended up giving the sample to my Mom because I knew it would remind her of a Catholic church. She is pretty much home bound and no longer attends in person.
    I sent her the 9 ml decant and decided to buy one for myself, too. Avignon is a scent that brings me comfort. I only gave it four stars because I wish it lasted longer. I will probably repurchase once I run out, but I am also interested in trying others in the Incense line.

    Very nice full-on incense scent. No sweetness or other notes, just incense. If that is what you want this is a really nice quality incense scent.

    This is the best incense I've ever tried! It's highly unisex, and my husband and I take turns wearing it. The incense is incredibly realistic—cool, yet tender and watercolor-like. It immediately evokes an image of a Catholic cathedral, spacious and luminous.
