Seven Gates is a Turkish niche perfume brand established in 2021 by Muhip Önal. Influenced by modern art and social structures, the brand integrates digital art with fragrance to create a multidimensional experience. The design process is guided by the belief that artworks capable of evoking emotions require the highest quality raw materials. Perfumers and artists are given complete creative freedom, allowing for the development of unique compositions.
The “Duality Collection” serves as a central theme, exploring the interplay between opposing forces within existence. Rather than presenting these forces as conflicting, the collection emphasizes their complementary nature. This concept is visually represented through digital artwork by Cihan Engin, who created illustrations for ten different themes within the collection. The corresponding fragrances were crafted by internationally recognized perfumers, each composition reflecting the narrative embedded in the artwork.
Led by creative directors Berkan Başoğlu and Muhip Önal, Seven Gates seeks to merge fragrance and design into a cohesive artistic experience. In addition to being wearable, the perfumes are conceived as artistic expressions, bridging scent and visual storytelling through an innovative approach.
