    Tuxedo by Yves Saint Laurent is a Chypre fragrance for women and men.

    Tuxedo blends opposite forces to recreate the mixing glamour of tuxedo designs. The fragrance is made by Juliette Karagueuzoglou and it is a modern chypre that showcases a vigorous earthy citrus opening of violet leaves and bergamot that lingers alongside the floral heart of rose, black pepper, and brittle lily of the valley which mirror like the shiny satin stripe of lapels of tuxedo jackets. The perfume expresses a dark sophistication and lewd appeal once it merges in the base with sumptuous ambergris and fumed patchouli.

    Too Sweet...Too Much...Too Long

    Transfer this assessment to another one of the five senses. Think of it as a favorite desert instead of a fragrance. In this case, Tuxcedo is like eating your favorite piece of pie, except after you finish, another piece is placed in front of you to eat. And you have to eat it, you can't refuse, the scent just stays and stays and stays with you, you have to keep eating and eating and eating, long after you've had all you want, had too much. There are no incremental application options with Tuxcedo, it's either full blown overwhelming for the entirety of the day, and you just have to shower to stop it. So, bottom line is, it's a nice scent but it's too much.

    Exquisite fragrance

    Best of the best for sure. It is elegant and sophisticated. Perfect name for a fragrance to wear on great dinners and special occasions. Long lasting and moderate projection

    A rich, smooth, intoxicating smell. Not too floral or citrus, it has a nice bottom (lol) just right for fall and winter. I'll be ordering a much larger sample.
