Human smells like a manmade atmosphere turned into scent rather than a traditional perfume. The opening is weird in a very intentional way: steamed rice, chalky concrete, and a faint spark of ginger that feels almost metallic. There’s a green, slightly savory edge from matcha and a soft powdery iris that keeps it from feeling harsh, but it never tries to be pretty or conventionally wearable—it feels conceptual and a bit uncanny.

As it develops, it settles into warm skin musk, sandalwood, and a subtle salty-mossy base that blurs into a “human body + environment” effect. It’s skin-like, slightly savory, and quietly strange—like clean skin in a concrete room with something living underneath it. It’s not a crowd-pleaser, but it’s fascinating: minimal, abstract, and very deliberately about humanness rather than perfume.

Was worried I wouldn’t like this as it’s my first fragrance with some more uncommon notes, but I was pleasantly surprised! For me it starts very clean and bright and sort of powdery. Unlike anything I’ve ever smelled tho so it’s hard to explain. Absolutely love those musk and sandalwood base notes. It dries down to something familiar and scrumptious

Wow!! Despite the name, this smells quite earthy to me, but I really like it. For the first few hours on my skin, it smells exactly like steamed rice and freshly washed, raw mushrooms. Maybe a little mossy too? The longer it’s worn, the more traditional and less warm it becomes. Even then, it doesn’t have a very “animal/human” feel to me. It’s not what you expect, but definitely still worth experiencing. This fragrance takes me on a pleasant and complex journey every time I wear it.

This was a huge surprise - I got a linear peppermint accord. It made me think of candy canes at Christmas, but not as sweet. I got no rice, mushroom or concrete. Not something I thought I would be attracted to, but I keep reaching for it and can’t stop thinking about it. I may end up with a full bottle.
