    Jasmine is famous in perfumery. The question was, how could we do it in a Jo Malone London way? We travelled to India in search of jasmine sambac – the queen of all jasmine. Combined with the unexpected notes of marigold, it became a warm and addictive floral fragrance. Perfect for Cologne Intense.” - said Celine Roux, one of perfumer of the Jasmine Sambac & Marigold composition. The fragrance is created in collaboration of Celine Roux and a Master perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui as a fresh and unexpected combination of flowers, noble jasmine sambac and lovely marigold.

    Top note is Marigold; middle notes are Jasmine Sambac, Ylang-Ylang and Honey; base note is Benzoin.

    Surprising Floral

    At first, the Jasmine struck me as indolic. But it quickly settles into a rich, creamy, inviting, plush floral and the marigold is photorealistic. I will buy a full bottle of this. And the packaging, shipping, and pricing from scent split was top notch, as always.

    This wasn't the scent for me, as i thought it was going to be a more light and fresh floral but it was a more woody floral.

    Too Indolic

    Jasmine Sambac by Jo Malone is heavy on the indolic jasmine smell. It's very waxy, heavier, and old-fashioned than what I was expecting. I was looking more for a light, airy scent that wouldn't send a room running for breaths of fresh air. My nose personally finds this fragrance a bit cloying and lacks some sheerness that you'd expect from jasmine. Quite a disappointment from Jo Malone. I'll stick with Scarlett Poppy as my favorite Jo Malone fragrance.

    Hard to detect any scent

    This one is barely there for me, tried wearing several times to pick up any jasmine scent, would not recognize marigold, in any case. Rave reviews on Jo Malone scents so far, not a fan. Great service and delivery times, as usual, thank you!

    Ordered to try as a bed time perfume, and it does not disappoint. I still smell so good in the morning and my sheets smell incredible when I get into bed at night. Very floral. My 13 year old daughter asked “what is the amazing smell” - go for it! I bought the biggest bottle, after testing the 5ml Also - I just want to say how amazing scent split is. Fast shipping, and I love that I can sample luxury fragrances without commitment.
