    `Yesterday Haze,` the subtly sinister follow-up to Lenora Blumberg`s acclaimed debut `Violet Disguise,` tells the story of a farmer`s wife who, after maintaining a decades-long affair with a crop duster pilot, decides to come clean to her husband, who also happens to be her lover`s employer. `Just as sunsets are more beautiful on hazy days,` Blumberg wrote, `so, too, are the memories of yesterday.` Set in California`s tranquil and dusty San Joaquin Valley, the elaborate tale unfolds like a dream, delicately shifting perceptions like the colors of a dimming dusk.

    Sweet Scent!

    Honestly I’m not sure why this scent was so hard to pinpoint. It’s kind of sweet and creamy, and I’m not getting a lot of fruity elements. There is also definitely a kind of woodsy nutty undertone. It’s nice if you want something a little toasty warm woodsy.

    Smells great but doesn't smell like fig

    Yesterday Haze is lovely but doesn't smell like fig to me (which tracks with all the reviews from others who say they don't like fig but like Yesterday Haze). This started out with a menthol top note (?!) and quickly dried down to a creamy rich scent. Oddly, it does not smell like figs in any clear way. It DOES smell like a luxury hotel lobby, in a clean and rich and good way. It's not perfumey or overwhelming.

    If I wanted a proper fig or fig tree perfume, I'd go for Philosykos or Debaser. But Yesterday Haze has a very nice scent profile, even though it's not what I imagined, and I'll wear it sometimes.

    2 hours of bliss

    This perfume smelled so lovely but I was really disappointed that it only lasted a few hours and just doesn't pack a punch. I love this brand concept but I'd love to see better wear time.

    Comes out like a sweetened spicy sage. Settles down to a powdery floral. It’s cute definitely unisex

    I have trouble with fig fragrances but this one is really nice.
