    Inspired by a timeless blend from the ancient perfume house of Casamorati, 1888 evokes a bygone era of elegance and sophistication. The fragrance opens with a spicy yet refined burst of carnation, green pepper, coriander, and the luxurious warmth of Iranian saffron. At its heart lies an intoxicating floral bouquet, combining the opulence of Bulgarian rose, Moroccan neroli, and exotic Indonesian ylang-ylang.

    The rich and creamy base features Mysore sandalwood, earthy patchouli, and golden amber, while Russian birch lends a subtle leathery depth, creating an enveloping and ethereal finish. A truly rare and unique scent, 1888 encapsulates the artistry and grace of a forgotten age.

    In the beginning I smelt some alcoholic flowers with honey.
    Very beautiful, stylish, masculine - for those who like this type of scents, a bit too heavy for my taste. It definitely suits a mature look.
    It intensifies as it opens.
    And so, the flowers weakened their pressure, leaving a sweet honey-amber base, with some soapiness, but very pleasant. Delicate honey, but with floral shades.

    The scent is true the the houses dna but it isn’t for me. It reminds me of sexy toothpaste. I thought I would get better in the dry down but it didn’t. This brand has much better scents like Erba pura, Tony iommi and Le Capitale

    I’m a 44 yr old male - love fragrances. First time I got nose on Xerjoff 1888. My wife and I enjoyed it. Kinda fighting over it. I’m not a fan of unisex frags unless lean really male. The sample leaned more male to me but had a hint of floral. Different for me to like this but was good. I bought a small bottle at a discounted afterwards but it smelled way to rosey/floral. Not sure why but the sample was much better than the full bottle from the discounter. I actually thought I purchased the wrong frag… cuz
