    Released in September 2011 as a counterpart to a beauty and makeup collection, Santal Blush by perfumer Yann Vasnier is an enchanting, woody fragrance centered around creamy sandalwood. This captivating scent is crisped with a lush spicy accord of fenugreek and caraway, enhanced by a touch of carrot seeds, creating a rich, oud-inclining earthiness.

    A blush floral accord of rose, ylang-ylang, and jasmine accompanies the sandalwood heart, evoking the soft hues of a late summer evening.     I was on the hunt for a Sandalwood fragrance. I heard good things about Santal Blush, but unfortunately, on me, it's more "blush" than "Santal". Too creamy and heavy, and the dry-down is VERY sweet on me. So, the search continues.
