Pekji is an independent Turkish perfume house founded by the perfumer Omer Ipekci. Previously an underground brand catering only to a loyal inner circle, the brand launched officially in 2018 with the motto of "There is more to perfume". "Perfume is an underappreciated shortcut to trigger emotion without words and images getting in the way. It can and should be more than seeking status or smelling acceptable. I believe perfume to be for the wearer first rather than for projecting to others.
