    Fleeting Beauty

    This fragrance opens so beautifully: dark, smoky, resinous and syrupy-rich. It's so intoxicating and unique. But that stunning opening fades so quickly, and what you're left with is an acrid, bitter smoke and leather base. It honestly smells like burnt matches. If the opening notes had any staying power, this would be a real winner. Instead, it's a fleeting disappointment. I'm not a fan of the appropriative concept either.
