    Halfeti Leather by Penhaligon's is a Leather fragrance for women and men. Halfeti Leather was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is Christian Provenzano. "A potion with scents so deliciously intoxicating that you will immediately fall in love with it. The fragrance is warm, strong and reassuring at the same time, ignoring all respectability. We embarked on a long journey to the Turkish city of Halfeti. In this place, the red roses seem black as their magic is intense. The story begins under the auspices of fresh and vigorous bergamot, combined with green and aromatic touches of sagebrush. It evolves brilliantly thanks to jasmine and spicy rose. It’s a love studded with thorns. The final notes contain all the promise of distant lands, affirming with certainty the vanilla, sandalwood and leather spiciness which unite the oud, amber and patchouli imbued with a reassuring distinction."

     

    Notes:

    Top notes are Cardamom, Plum, Green Notes, Bergamot, Citruses and Lavender; middle notes are Cumin, Rose, Nutmeg, Violet, Cinnamon and Jasmine; base notes are Leather, Agarwood (Oud), Incense, Cedar and Patchouli.

    Brilliantly crafted

    Such a magical scent. It's hard to even describe it. A floral, spicy leathery. Friendly from start to finish. Dry down turns into a spicey powder.

    The opening is to me, phenomenal. One of the best I have yet to encounter. You will want to burry nose in the wet spray even. It's that invitingly luring. Then, the spicy powder accord kicks in.

    I hate it

    I hate that I will never smell this good all the time. The deep, enthralling scents of this fragrance are enough to drive you mad. I hate that everything now smells disappointing. I can no longer enjoy my freshly laundered sheets or a rainy morning. Gone are the days I could enjoy the smell of a freshly baked pie or the lilac bushes of the Botanical Gardens. It all pales in comparison.

    In all seriousness though, this is by far my favorite scent I’ve tried and I am supremely sad I will never have a full bottle. Good thing Scent Split is here to help me smell my best!
