A masculine scent created by a young and talented female perfumer, Stéphanie Bakouche, Invasion Barbare is an elegant and soulful portrait of a man of every woman's dream. He exudes warmth, intelligence and sensitivity as well as strength. And yet, sensitive as he is, there is a passionate Barbarian hidden under his refined exterior. Like that ‘Perfect Man', Invasion Barbare combines elegant understatement with lots of warmth and an unexpected, mesmerizing depth. The composition is built on the contrast of freshness and warmth, on the intriguing balance of citrus fruits, lavender, spices and vanilla and woods. Invasion Barbare is a tranquil, comforting scent, as soft as it is piquant. It is a soft-spokenfragrance, there is nothing overly forceful about it, and yet it is full of charisma. One gentle whiff of its delicately-spiced notes and we are enthralled. We strongly believe that this beautiful blend might and should be used as a shared fragrance.

Invasion Barbare Notes

Grapefruit, bergamot, violet leaves, white thyme, cardamom, lavender, ginger, cedarwood, vanilla and musk

I loved this fugere perfume, when I finish my sample I will surely go for the big bottle!

Classic Barbershop fragrance

This is a very classic barbershop fragrance. It has a lot of nostalgia as it reminds of very classic aftershaves but yet done in a high quality classy manner

Mature but complex

This one turned out to be a bit of a surprise. On paper, not particularly remarkable. On skin, started off very “dad” or men’s club/barber vibe (which it continued to hit at throughout the day), but it revealed some surprising complexity on the various stages through dry-down and finished almost back where it started, just more subtle, elegant, soft-spoken. This might not be full-bottle worthy for me, but definitely a larger sample to try from time to time.

Unique and wonderful

I assume you could classify this as a barbershop fragrance but I feel as that does it a disservice. It has a hint of citrus and musk and projects and lasts for a long amount of time even in the cold. This is worth a try and a whole bottle. It's very masculine.
