    "Why did I create this perfume? I'm tired with "safety culture." Grown bored of the overly clean, overly safe, overly cautious culture in which I find myself. I wanted to celebrate life in all its aspects, clean and dirty! I wanted to create a floral perfume that was mature, animal and sexual. Civet Cat Chypre is what a 1920's "flapper" girl may have smelled like. A musky, floral chypre perfume. My Civet Cat Chypre is very complex and sexual confidence in a bottle. A natural aphrodisiac! She is made with ethically harvested Ethiopian civet musk. animal musk deep florals complex woods This perfume smells of rose and jasmine but also of female sex organs, sweat and animal fur. My number 50 was designed for people who don`t mind smelling a little bit "dirty." " - A note from the brand.

    It definitely had a cat smell in the worst way. I got a sample out of curiosity and won’t be purchasing a bottle. As for scentsplit I’ll purchased other items of various sizes; all came without any leaking. Will be a repeat customer!

    I love this one

    If you’re a fan of animalics then you’ve got to try this one. Opens up aromatic with the civet but dries down into beautiful rich, animalic floral.

    Civet Cat Chypre is smooth, elegant and delightful. It's beautifully blended and feels like a genuine classic. It's love at first sniff for me then gracefully lingers. You can smell the quality of the individual elements contributing to this artful fragrance. Luxe, animalic, refined, not at all heavy due to the finesse of the blending, rather like a warm embrace. Very uplifting! What a wonderful indie perfumer, Mr Meleg is! Definite bottle for me...
