    Ex Vetiver by Juliette Has A Gun is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for Women & Men. 

    The scent is an overdose of vetiver with no less than 3 different varieties in the formula: Vetiver from Haiti, India, and Indonesia. «Ex» in Latin means «derived from», so the translation of Ex Vetiver in english would be «derived from vetiver» !

    At first glance, there’s a real hesperidic freshness that is citrusy and truly elegant. Then, the woods join into the dance. Rich, slightly smoky. The formula is built on a duality between the masculine and powerful facet of the root and citrusy accord, more delicate, refined and fusing. The result is genuinely elegant, sophisticated even.

    Nice lemony musk fragrance with vetiver

    This is like 60-80% a lemon/bergamot musk fragrance (think dove soap, lotions, or sunscreens, but with lemon as the main note) that has a Haitian + Java vetiver base that it dries down to, but the fragrance is not a "vetiver bomb". The lemony musk has good performance, it doesn't all evaporate and leave you with pure vetiver, it stays around like the vetiver does. The fragrance smells like an easy-to-wear clean-smelling/soapy lemon skin lotion or sunscreen that has some vetiver in the base.

    The vetiver is earthy, grassy, smoky, "rooty", and nutty (Java vetiver is kind of "peanutty").

    Beautiful fragrance

    This is a beautiful fresh fragrance. It’s woody and slightly sweet in the best possible way. Will be reaching for this often as it starts to warm up.
