Promenade In The Gardens by Maison Martin Margiela is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women and men

Promenade In The Gardens was conceived in the fertile imagination of the IFF master perfumer Carlos Benaim around the notes of peony, rose, freesia, on a quintessential chypre accord in the base. The perfume is a tribute to spring and summer with full bloomed flowers and green grassy aroma, that lies upon a heart of jasmine and rose which not only give the freshness of the top a sensual characteristic, but also provide a pathway from the top elements through the base of patchouli, vetiver, and Australian sandalwood.

Soft and Green

The floral notes in this are very soft and mellow, and they're nicely balanced by fresh green notes and a subtle earthiness. I wouldn't say it's anything special, but it smelled nice. It's definitely one of the better florals in the Replica line.

Lovely floral chypre

This scent is amazing, it’s a really nice fresh floral chypre. It’s not sweet or overly flowery but just smells like an old garden with roses and moss-covered stones after a rain. Refreshing yet relaxing and perfect for spring. I’ve been loving it in late winter and it would be perfect to transition into warmer weather. I do wish it lasted longer but the scent is so good I give it 5 stars regardless.

I give it a B grade

It’s not an overpowering floral scent and it does smell good when you put it on, but it also doesn't last very long, so I gave it a 4
