    When a tip from a clairvoyant leads 23-year old Neal Orris to a rural Connecticut barn housing his deceased fathers secret obsession, a pristine 1964 Shelby Cobra Roadster, it is the getaway ticket he was desperately searching for. After liberating his best friend Ike from his dead-end job on the family farm, the two hit the open highway. Aiming for the Palm Springs race tracks, their journey is a blur of seedy motels, cool swimming pools, hot debutantes, cocktails, and cigarette smoke. Each stop finds the friends inventing new pseudonyms and personas for themselves, their innocent game hurtling into the depths of decadence and desolation.

    Weird and wonderful

    Most of the reviews I’ve read for this one are from men, but scents tend to go sweet on me. This held the citrus and iris so beautifully in the background with just enough asphalt to keep it strange. It makes me feel like I’m in a 1940s film noir, and I love it! It’s not for everyday but I’m so pleasantly surprised by this gem.

    I'm one of those weirdos that like the smell of hot tar, it floods my brain with deja vu-esque appeal. I was turned onto this brand with "fat electrician"... Imaginary Author does some unique work.
