A captivating wood creation, shimmering like gold. The fragrance has become an interpretation of a radiantly precious wood that caresses the skin sensually and warms it gently. THE FRAGRANCE Bois Doré is an absolutely precious masterpiece of craftsmanship. The fusion of wood nuances and the noble shine of gold. Fabrice Pellegrin - perfumer of Bois Doré - chose noble cedarwood for its preciousness and tonka bean for its almost hypnotic intensity and splendour. A hint of musk and vanilla gives the irresistible fragrance radiance and character. An addictive, very sensual fragrance. THE INSPIRATION Tonka beans are the fruits of the Brazilian teak tree, which can reach a height of up to 20m in the Amazon rainforest. When these beans are dried, their aromas crystallize and exude that characteristic, fascinating signature - a sensual blend of tobacco, vanilla and almond nuances. About 30,000 tonka beans are needed for the extraction of only 1 kg of the precious Absolue. THE DESIGN Restraint is a key characteristic of the appearance of this perfume: The flacon is sculpted in pure and slender shapes. Its glass is heavy and precious. Like a jewel, the bottle is signed with a stamp on the bottom and topped with a black lacquered cap. To personalize each fragrance, it features both name and number, an identifier used in perfume houses. The presentation box is decked in precious white and edged with green, the emblematic colour of the house - and symbol of the inspiration by nature...
