This creation tells of a marvelous discovery that Tiziana and Paolo made during a fascinating childhood journey to the much loved and unique Italian city, Milan. They discovered the new moon, also known as the black moon. This lunar cycle of rebirth is considered by many, a good omen, a sign of good luck, prosperity and future happiness. The fragrance opens with the sparkling and precious intensity of Italian saffron which embraces the intense bouquet of specially selected petals. Absolute Bulgarian rose and pink geranium is combined with precious magnolia, which blooms but one day a year, steeped with ylang ylang, and Cypriol resin. This persistent and elegant head lies on a strong and regal heart of Orris, a rare root of aristocratic nobility, surrounded by precious Cuban cedar and Guaiac Wood. Gurjum balsam resins act as a bridge to an intense and regal base of decisive and concrete power, created by the combination of pricless woods, ancient essences from the Terenzi Family's olfactory library. Here lies ambergris and then black oud of India, here imperial musk, steeped with the red patchouli for over 45 years, is sweetened by the flowers of Tahitian vanilla and sandalwood bark. It is a fragrance that, like the new moon, leads to rebirth, bringing with it a plethora of good fortune to those who have the privilege of being chosen to wear it.
