Powdery Naxos

Oblivion is a one to one clone of Naxos minus the tobacco and slightly more powdery. If that's all you need to know to want it, then by all means get it.

I would recommend sticking with Naxos since they are priced the same. Especially if you like the hint of tobacco. And if you already own Naxos, Oblivion is the pinnacle definition of redundancy despite their one subtle difference.

If this was an affordable dup I would give it 5 stars. If Naxos didn't exist, I would give this 5 stars. But, with how close this is to Naxos without any ode to the original, it feels like plagiarism. All while pricing itself at the same premium per ml.

The ingredients and quality are there. That should be the bottom line but there's more to the story. I don't think they can afford to make this more affordable and don't want the status of mimicry either. It's too greedy, and it comes off as disingenuous. Alas, actions speak louder than words.

Serves its purpose wonderfully.

This is not meant to be the best fragrance in your collection. Nor is it meant to be the most unique. What it is meant to be is a mass appealing, signature scent (if you so choose) that performs well in sillage, projection, and longevity. If you want an easy reach that is higher quality than your typical department store designer, then I recommend checking this one out.
