    Horrible reformulation!

    I just finished the last of my hoarded bottles of Serendipitous from many years ago and was happy to see it was here on Scent Split at a good price. The bottle had changed but I had no idea the perfume inside had also changed. This new version is quite awful! The original was this lovely milky chocolate with some orange and almost passionfruit notes at the top, this luscious chocolate middle and sweet vanilla dried down. The new version smells like cheap chocolate syrup with a hint of orange, and a generic vanilla base. I guess I should have bought a sample first and not assumed it would be the same after all these years. I ended up giving the bottle to my daughter and hope she will enjoy it because it is nothing like I remembered at all. Very disappointed.
