An imaginary journey to Indonesia's gorgeous and remote Sulawesi Island, Celebes Wood is a profusion of spices and woods, dense and powerful as if we were entering an extraordinary forest on the other side of the world. Cinnamon bark bakes in the blinding rays of the midday sun poking through the canopy, while an intoxicating aroma of cardamom seed adds a sizzle of its own alongside dazzling white pepper. A sumptuous and sophisticated black vanilla bean is rich, mouthwatering, and boozy, melding cold and warm elements together against roasted tonka and deep, resinous labdanum.
