Soul Of The Forest is a chypre fragrance that takes a look back to this quintessential olfactory category with a radical modern twist to adapt the glory of the past to an adventurous contemporary taste. The perfume is constructed around the idea of a green mysterious forest that retreats with the vivacious power of nature. To materialize the concept an opening of black currant, pimento peppers, and surprisingly oakmoss perform in the opening stage, and then a coniferous sweetness joins with balsam fir, labdanum, and maple syrup. The base, nevertheless, is more on a classic identification of a chypre with woods, patchouli, and incense.
