    Iris Empire by Carolina Herrera is an Amber Floral fragrance for women and men.

     

    Iris Empire is the black and intoxicating iris-dominant fragrance that was first launched exclusively for the Middle Eastern high-end markets. A lipstick-resembling combo of iris and violet is the main idea of the scent that provides a sensuous leathery facet that appears after the scent settled on the skin with the powdery impact of iris and violet, chocolate, olibanum, and benzoin.

    Strong and too much!!

    Beautiful scent but so strong to the point of cloying! I think that this is definitely a dead of winter scent that would work well if you lived in Alaska or something!!

    Oh My Goodness!!!

    A delicious, rich, dark, expensive chocolate cake, wearing a leather jacket. I am in love with this one. If it wasn’t for the price…..beautiful

    If you like dusty patchouli, mixed with baby powder...

    This was disappointing. I was hoping the patchouli wouldn't dominate the other notes, but it does. This scent is mildly sweet, and the combo of iris, sweet dusty powder, and PATCHOULI reminds me of Thierry Mugler's Angel, but sweeter, with baby powder. I normally love iris and resins, but sadly I had to wash my arm and hand several times as this scent is long-lasting. I've been over patchouli for a while. CH and Nelly Hachem-Ruiz need to expand their scent lab and find new materials to use.

    Not it!

    Unlike some Youtube reviewers that were fans of this scent, I am definitely not. This scent was described similar to DHI and other lipsticky, chocolatey scents. This scent was full of cinnamon, odd-like undertones and lots of patchouli. Glad I sampled before buying.

    Iris Empire did not work for me. All I can smell is a pervasive burning woody smell from start to finish. It's probably just my sense of smell. I've read nothing but rave reviews about it. I'm sure that it would work just fine for someone else.
