Exquisite

I’m a collector and I try to be very deliberate about my purchases and Scent Split has been an incredible partner in testing niche Chypres, CdN included. For me, CdN opens with a cool incense tempered by a mild citrus and then a watery accord (but not an “aquatic”). It dries into a green spicy Chypre with a subtle oak moss base. Very unisex and unrestricted by season or time of day. Among Chypres, this is an easy grab. Very special and unique.

Smells like a tar pit

The opening is buoyant - great orange and spice. By the time it dries down its a skin scent. I found it unpleasant and musky.

Intense chypre

A very intense chypre. Like all Bortnikoff fragrances it is exquisitely blended and distinctive. Love the moss cologne too.
