With The Other Side Of Oud, Atkinsons takes the oud to a more versatile and urban stage, yet it maintains the ingredient’s intriguing and eccentric authenticities. A waft yet steady breeze of rich spice accord combined of ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon runs out, followed by a heady burst of oud wood and a whiff of coffee blossom and jasmine that opens gates for a refined core of roasted coffee and vanilla absolute. Oud hasn’t been such posh before.
