    Zagorsk by Comme des Garcons is an Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. 

     

    Each member of the Incense collection of Comme des Garcons pays homage to an ancient city that maintains the merits and heritage of the world’s top religions. Zagorsk celebrates orthodox church and displays an edgy combo of smoky pine needles and birch tree tar with a dramatic and dark touch of hinoki cypress and cedarwood, smoothen by iris and pimento. It is the forbidding aesthetic.

    The scent of wet stones

    Somehow this managed to capture the scent of a Russian orthodox stone church surrounded by a snowy forest. It might not be a crowd pleaser, but it sure is good at creating its intended atmosphere. It's spiritual somehow (likely due to the incense and resins). 5 stars for originality and doing exactly what it advertised. I'll be wearing this on days I'm home alone, rather than out and about though. Props to the creator for perfectly capturing the scent of the wet stones on a rural church.

    Truly Unique Fragrance

    Very lovely scent. Woody, piney and like balm. The only downside, it doesn't last at all. It lasts only about 2 hours on me.

    Very nice fragrance.

    I wouldn't say that this smells like an Incense in a traditional way. This smells more like a balm with a darker pine and wood aspect. It's very resin like smell. This fragrance is for the older crowd, and I would say a winter time, but it is very nice.
