    Kyoto by Comme des Garcons is an Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. 

     

    Each member of the Incense collection of Comme des Garcons pays homage to an ancient city that maintains the merits and heritage of the world’s top religions. Kyoto is the center of the two religions of Buddhism and Shintoism. The perfume displays a comfy and highly inviting coniferous incense with dominancy of cypress, cedar, and teak wood in relation to coffee beans and vetiver.

    One of my favorite of all CdG fragrances, and IMHO, the best of their incense series. It doesn't last long, but there's nothing off about its impact from the initial spray to drydown fade. Everything about this fragrance is balanced and self-assured. It reminds me a bit of Sen-sen, the vintage licorice breathmints from decades ago.

    If I could gie this 10 stars I would! This is my favorite out of the incense series. It sets the scene for chilly, rainy days in the woods. It's mountainous, airy, clean. This smell came from nature, chopped wood and dew-dappled leaves. It's peaceful, dreamy, and magical. I will definitely be buying a bottle!

    If you’re looking for a strong incense note with a light woody note in the background, this is for you! I was hoping for a more predominant wood note, so my search goes on!
