Sultan Vetiver by Nishane is an Oriental Woody fragrance for Women & Men.

Sultan Vetiver celebrates the earthy, rich character of vetiver in its most authentic form, invoking the former glory of classic vetiver scents. The fragrance showcases three distinct types of vetiver oil, each contributing unique facets—from the salt marsh to freshly-mown grass, with hints of hazelnut and rose. An anisic bite adds a bold twist, evoking the deep bitterness of black licorice. The composition transitions into a warm, creamy drydown where tonka bean and amber resin soften the pungency, resulting in a smooth, almost olive-green sweetness that’s both rugged and refined.

Ideal for those who appreciate the complexity of vetiver, Sultan Vetiver is a luxurious and versatile scent that will delight both purists and newcomers alike.

Worth sampling. Transforms a lot over time

Sampled this upon suggestion from other vetiver lovers. Starts off with nice floral tones but overall earthy, warm and vetiver forward.

About an hour into wearing it was my favorite point. There was a nice balance between earthy and floral.
After about 4 hours, only a sharp, floral, very feminine perfume scent remains. The lingering florals kill it for me and my skin chemistry. So unique in the opening, but when the vetiver leaves, it left me with a headache and an unscrubbable perfume scent. Bummer for me, but worth sampling to see how it works for you.

Vetiver forward scent too strong

I think I just don't like vetiver forward scents at all. When trying on Sultan Vetiver, it reminded me of toilet air fresheners that were commonly used in Asia (or Asian restaurants).

Superb

This is a masterpiece in my opinion and its one of the reasons why I have become such a fragrance fan. From the opening to the dry down these notes dazzle my olfactory senses to its core. It's supremely masculine, niche, debonair, and every adjective that expresses good. If you're looking to make a first impression? Look no further,Sultan Vetiver is a must have for the lover of pure masculine fragrances
