Dark

It starts very harsh and strong, but as it wears longer through the day it gets quite a lot softer and more chocolatey with some hints of smokiness. Nice fragrance, but apply it an hour or two before going out so it won’t be so acrid.

The name dark feels apt. The notes listed felt misleading. I was expecting a more gourmand experience than it was. My first impression was- burning incense stick.
Smoke, patchouli, and certain woods set off my allergies (sneezing, nasal congestion, headache). I screen for that because I know my limitations. Though none of those notes are listed- this quickly set off my allergies. I suspect it does have 1 of those things in it.
I let my husband try it since I had to scrub it. It is strong and lasted all day. None of the listed sweet notes really came through until its final throes. That smoky incense persisted like a haunting shadow.
If you want a sweet, edible gourmand- look elsewhere. My husband said he wouldn't wear it again either. His impression was- "what witches smell like". Not sure what that means; but do with it what you will.

To me, at first spray this smells like opening a can of unsweetened cocoa powder and smelling the dust - amazingly realistic. As it develops, a nutty smell comes out, but the cocoa’s still there. All in all, an amazing chocolate scent without being too sweet.

Like walking into a French chocolatier’s store, this scent wraps you in that gorgeous inimitable warmth of dark chocolate with just a hint or cream and sugar for body. Unmistakably gourmand, it’s never cloying or sugary. Just perfectly cacao sliding gently across your skin. Arms length projection. Mild spillage wafting after you, and hours of longevity. This is an investment fragrance you will return to again and again with surprise that it’s been so long since you reached into your wardrobe for it.

This fragrance is very good and I would definitely recommend it for any chocolate or gourmond lovers

The smell was not good. It slapped me right in the face and it had a sour smell like wet wood.
