M/Mink by Byredo is a fragrance for Women and Men.

M/Mink is an unconventional fragrance created in collaboration with M/M creative studio, inspired by the art of ink and calligraphy. Released in 2010, this scent captures the essence of ink through an incense-centered composition. It opens with aldehydes, which blend seamlessly with rich incense and earthy patchouli leaf, evoking the depth of ink on paper. The fragrance is softened by honey and sea notes, adding an unexpected sweetness and freshness, while amber and subtle floral notes round out the composition, creating a mysterious and intriguing inky aroma.

Don't listen to the haters

I love this scent! It's definitely unusual, very sea note forward for me. Doesn't smell like dead animal like others have claimed to me, but does have something in it that is anamalic. It makes me feel refreshed and clean. Definitely unisex.

The rare Byredo miss

Not for me at all, offensive and pungent. I agree with the review from Adina Triolo on 4/7/2022, awful scent lol.

Horrific

I wish I had something positive to say about this fragrance — I normally am a lover of all perfumes even when they aren’t my style, and I’ve never not enjoyed one — until now. This one… oof. It is truly and indescribably horrifying. It smells like a sick dirty animal. This scent quite literally made me feel physically ill, and worst of all, I spent several hours trying to wash this off with soap, alcohol, vinegar, you name it, and despite the weak lasting power of other Byredo scents, this one PERSEVERES. I didn’t even want to throw this sample in my trash can for fear that my trash may pick up this scent. I am a fan of Byredo but is sincerely the worst thing I have ever smelled in my life. Maybe it works with other people’s skin chemistry, but for me, it’s a hard HARD no.

Only just tried it

I should probably wait but so far I’m really liking how this has dissipated. It’s a little strong at first but after an hour I like the scent a lot. I’m new to this but I know I like more unisex.
