    Rosy opulence

    This perfume encapsulates the concept of opulence, but in a way that only a bouquet of real fragrant roses can. I feel classic, modern, mysterious, elegant, and distinguished at the same time when I wear this fragrance, and I’ve never been a fan of overt florals. Very rose-forward, yet rich. Invokes deep memories of the comforting scent of expensive face powders my mother wore when I was growing up. There’s a whisper of woodiness, and a touch of vanilla that adds a faint gourmand je-ne-sais-quoi. Rose lokum comes to mind immediately.

    Both the sillage and projection are moderate, and this perfume lasted on my dry skin for over 4 hours before I was ready to reapply.

    My only regret is that I bought the 1-ml sample and not a bigger decant! I may even just buy a full-size bottle. This will easily take a place in my personal signature fragrance lineup.
