Sweet Farewell  by Strangers Parfumerie is a fragrance for Women & Men

Based on the Thai dessert "Kanom Jaak" made from rice powder, palm sugar, coconut milk, coconut flakes and pandan leaf. Grilled on Nipa palm leaves. Kanom is "dessert" in Thai, Jaak can mean Nipa palm leaves, or farewell. Years ago, Kanom Jaak used to be a well-known dessert in Thailand. You could find it almost everywhere, but not so much anymore.

Sweet farewell is a woody green gourmand base, with dominant notes of tea-like Nipa palm leaves, milky coconut, rice powder, sweetness from palm sugar, a unique sweet greenness from Pandan leaves and hint of smokiness.

Musky

This starts out exactly as you'd expect from the notes, but it dries down musky in a way that reminds me of rich old ladies. That's the musk, cashmeran, and tonka notes probably. It's the kind of scent that gives me a headache. It's not my kind of gourmand or vanilla. Actually, the longer I wear it the more I hate it.

Absolutely gorgeous and delicious.

This scent is my dream gourmand. It is sweet without being cloying, it's refreshing and welcoming. I agree with the description of the scent being green, I think that's what keeps it down to earth - balanced with musk. Definitely unique, the cedar and sandalwood give it a sense of place and are so, so seductive in combination with the nipa palm leaf, tonka, rice powder and pandan leaf. I came across this fragrance on my hunt for rice notes and it truly delivered that and so much more. I absolutely want to eat it. It leaves a beautiful scent trail that leaves my partner like a cartoon character floating towards the scent of a pie on a windowsill. Maybe my favorite scent I've come across.

Exquisite

This is my type of gourmand. This is light and airy and smells of lightly sweetened sticky rice cooked in coconut milk. The greenness of the palm note is definitely there and lends to the simultaneous fresh factor of this fragrance. If you’re even slightly curious about this, sample it and you may be pleasantly surprised.
