Unutamam by Nishane is an Oriental Fougere fragrance for Women & Men.
Unutamam is an audacious entry in Nishane’s "Experimental Collection," conceived by the renowned fragrance blogger and creator Miguel Matos. Named after a famous Turkish song, the fragrance plays with contrasts, oscillating between lush seduction and animalic ferocity. From the first spray, it presents a bold clash of intense aromatic and floral notes, which defy easy classification and demand full attention. The sharp, crisp opening of rosemary, mint, juniper, and lavender hits the senses like a cold splash of water, energizing the wearer with a blast of herbaceous freshness.
As the fragrance develops, the florals begin to soften, revealing a smoother, more lush heart composed of jasmine, patchouli, and amber, with hints of oregano and carnation adding depth and complexity. Beneath it all, a smoky, industrial undertone emerges, with castoreum and labdanum adding an animalic, almost leather-like rawness, while oakmoss grounds the fragrance in earthy richness. In the drydown, the warmth of caramel and amber balances the intensity, offering a sweet contrast to the sharper notes, allowing the wearer to choose which direction the scent will take.
Unutamam is a fragrance that challenges conventions, giving the wearer the power to decide whether it evokes a garden of herbaceous delight or a rugged, animalistic journey.
