Cool kids with bleached hair swapping rare vinyl records. Distressed denim, hand-painted leather, latex, tartans, prints that would make your parents blush and lock you in the house for the whole summer… Did Punk invent fashion or fashion invented Punk? From underground clubs to the national TV, Punk always had its own style, its own press (fanzines), its own movies, its own poetry...So we figured it should have its own fragrance. Loud like the rehearsal in the room without sound isolation. Powerful like youth riot but still sweet and romantic - the idealism of adolescence wrapped in a heavy leather jacket.

    "Cleaner" than what I imagined

    I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS A CLEAN, SKING BUT BETTER SCENT. But I imagined it to be so much dirtier considering its inspiration from punk culture. The leather in this feels like a new leather purse that absorbed a little of the smoke from fancy tobacco candles during its first week of use.
    I don't get a used-motorcycle-jacket-with-cigarrette's-burns type of leather. This is not it if you are hoping for dirty, raw, and dark vibes. Not so rebellious in my opinion.
    That being said, I enjoy it. It is sophisticated and well-blended while you can also smell both the cherry and the leather. It is fruity but not childish or overwhelming. It totally gives the high-fashion side of Vivienne Westwood, and coherently, I suppose, it has more of an appropriation of punk as cool aesthetics than as politics.

    This perfume smells like someone dumped a boozy cherry drink on leather cat seats and the scent lasts forever.

    Better than the EDP version

    The opening was chemical cherry with gasoline which I found interesting. During the dry down the gasoline faded off. Clean sterile medical office joined in with the cherry and there was ChapStick in the background. I really vibed with it. Post dry down it became woody, skewing nutty and I lost interest in it. It's a tough call. I really did enjoy the opening and immediate dry down, but the post dry down was something of a let down. Maybe it's not for me.

    Cherry Wonderful

    This is a really, really nice scent. I recommend this one. Better than Cherry Smoke by Tom Ford...to me.
