Elagabal - Heliogabalus by Ricardo Ramos is a fragrance for Women & Men

This fragrance dedicated to the Roman emperor Elagabalus, and its inspiration is born in Sir Lawrence Alma Tedema's iconic painting "The Roses of Elagabalus", the painting represents an episode (probably invented) from the emperor's life (204–222), taken from History of Augustus, although the original Latin text refers to "violets and other flowers", Alma-Tadema depicts Elagabalus asphyxiating his unsuspecting guests with rose petals thrown from a false ceiling.

His brief reign (218 to 222) was notable for sexual scandals and religious controversy. The emperor reportedly wore makeup and wigs, preferred to be called lady rather than sir, and offered large sums of money to any surgeon who could provide him with a vagina. For this reason, some writers and historians view the Roman emperor as one of the first transgender figures, and one of the first recorded to have sought sex reassignment surgery.
