Look at the moon! How strange the moon seems! She is like a woman rising from a tomb.

This drydown!

The initial spray reminded me why I gave away my decant of it years ago - the hyrax, castoreum, and cumin are a bit much for even the musk lover that I am. But! this dry down is making me regret giving it away. This is sweet, smoky sweat. I can’t stop huffing myself

Modernized Chypre

Imagine someone taking an old school Coty or Rochas chypre and adding modern notes to it without compromising the original formula. Very luxorious, refined, but still has some animalic notes within it. Highly impressed, 9.5/10.

Obsessed

Very beautiful perfume. I wear it when I’m in a f*** you mood! It’s deff a “woman’s” scent. It takes somebody very sexy and secure to wear it out and rock it. It’s transportive, when I smell it I go somewhere else. Somewhere dark, feral, and limitless. Love the backstory of the name as well. Also noticed the perfumer is very active reading reviews so you can tell she is proud of her work. Overall a bottle I would personally love to buy full size and keep on my perfume shelf. Side note: my boyfriend said it smells like a woman burning an incense in an apartment in Brooklyn in the 80’s so it’s not his favorite. Thankfully I don’t wear perfume to please a man haha

Very Animalic

A complex scent, but with my skin chemistry it turned very animalic, heavy and overpowering. Glad that I bought a sample only from Scent Split, since I was curious and it could have been a winner.
