The scent of another. For your Love is about taking risks. Imagine the scent of a kiss, with all the olfactory sensations that you experience in that fraction of second as you approach the other person. The intimacy of skin, the warm musk of the neck at the hairline and the fruity, powdery fragrance of lip stick. It’s all there. Through notes of Raspberry that evoke the make-up, Exaltone with its strangely human scent and the carnal pleasure of Cachalox that is so close to Ambergris. Finally, for the sensuality of skin touching skin in a gentle caress, Benzoin and Patchouli Coeur add their depth and sweetness. In olden days, they wore musk to indicate that they were looking for a lover and a good lover was said to be “as sharp as amber”, meaning they were gifted with great insight.

Notes:

Top notes are Raspberry and Musk; middle note is Ambergris; base notes are Patchouli and Benzoin.

I’d love a full bottle

For Your Love is exactly the kind of perfume I love. It is beautiful on the opening and has an amazing dry down as well. I’ve been having trouble lately finding perfumes that I adore all the way through.

Powdery Raspberry dream!

I’m new to loving powdery fragrances. I don’t love a strong powder, but For Your Love is a soft wash of powder over a creamy raspberry. It’s got musk which was don’t perfectly in this perfume- it’s not a heavy musk but just a light musk in the background. The woody amber accord in here rounds everything out beautifully but it’s NOT a woody perfume, the main notes you get are that sweet raspberry, slight powder and amber. Everything else in there just rounds this perfume out wonderfully! If you want a fancy, better version of Mon Paris, then I think this is the perfect option! It’s a softer scent so if you want a loud projection, this isn’t it. After several hours, the woodsy notes & patchouli become more prominent but the sweet powdery raspberry is still there. So if you don’t like that type of dry down, you might not like this.

Chameleon

So this was a wild ride for me, it started really feminine, with a lot fresh raspberries and even some Champagne notes, than came Patchouli, and then somehow in about 3 hours the smell on me turned into very manly scent of perfume. I swivel my hand and at first a was absolutely sure that the smell came from my husband nearby, but that was actually me. So absolute no for me, but I love the first and middle notes, and I know a few other girls who didn’t have such a problem with it.
