    While not a universally fragrant flower, the orchid contains the very essence of sensuality: dangerously beautiful in appearance, gorgeously complex, and utterly unique. Sensual Orchid, LM Parfums' tribute to this most tantalizing of blooms, captures the intriguing physicality of the orchid alongside a floral accord that fleshes out the aromatic essence of the flower, delivering to the wearer a scent every bit as lovely, sexy and subtly dangerous as its namesake. 

    Sensual Orchid opens bright and beautiful, with a rich, fruity almond and citrus that exudes light and happiness. As the rich orchid accord that makes up the heart emerges, the composition turns more overtly sexual, with sweet ylang, gauzy heliotrope and smooth, fresh peony all augmenting the delicate orchid to convey a robust sensuality. In the base, rich vanilla (itself a part of the orchid family) weaves into rich musk and creamy woods to keep it dancing on the skin for hours. Equal parts fresh and frisky, Sensual Orchid is an absolute delight.

    Beautiful, delicate, but doesn’t last long

    tropical florals are definitely some of my favorites in my perfume collection, and I’ve been dying to try this one for the last couple years so was very excited to acquire a decant. While it is just beautiful, the sillage is very gentle and it disappears on my skin pretty quickly. I’d say I maybe get three hours out of it in total, and sillage drops considerably in the first hour or so. Maybe it will work better in summer? I don’t regret purchasing it, but I’m glad I bought a decant instead of a full bottle. Gorgeous but fleeting
