Slumberhouse's vivid, surreal creations always seem to give us a fairy tale vibe, but Kiste takes things a step farther and deposits us into Alice's Wonderland by way of the American South, complete with sticky pipe tobacco, sweet-drenched tea parties, and a courageous feminine heart that beats blissfully at the center.

Inspired by the relentless heat of Savannah in August, Kiste opens with a saturated composite of honeysuckle blossoms, and sweet tea and bourbon. A heart of impossibly rich, savory tobacco extracted from four different strains mystifies and delights, combining warm tones of rum, spices, vanilla and cocoa. As if the Mad Hatter's tea party were happening on the front porch of a Georgia manor, mashed peaches and juicy elderberry are drenched in sweet star thistle honey and baked under the sweltering sun until all that's left are a million hues of orange, pink and bronze. Many fragrances claim to transport us to a different time or place; but Kiste proves that Slumberhouse has a unique ability to take us to an entirely different plane of existence.

Kiste Notes

pipe tobacco, spicy peach, scotch heather, tonka, honey, patchouli and elderberry

Syrupy, sticky peaches and pipe tobacco cling together on a windless, humid Southern evening as the sun sets beyond the fields. Lasts 6+ hours on me and a single spritz is plenty.

Was VERY not into this at first, but it grew on me and (despite the price) I ended up having to upsize to a bigger sample. I get lots of compliments on it, because it’s so different from everything.

Not for me

Smells like chocolate dirt on my skin..

Absolutely Decadent

I've heard the review of Slumberhouse as a brand and how deadly expensive and limited their release are, and while I can't justify either, this is definitely something else. Like fine velvet soaked in peach brandy and more upper end alcohols. Highly recommend, a real piece of art, 9.5/10.
