    On the fence

    Wanted to love this since Pierre Montale was the nose behind the scent. I would give it a solid 3.5 - 4 stars. It start out earthy (like dirt) and slightly bitter - maybe the green apple. Then the rose develops, but the Jasmine and Amber are lost. The Bergamot and Peach come through eventually. Maybe it's more complex than meets the eye. But I can't love it, and I wouldn't buy a bottle.
