    Yes, it does smell like lipsticks; powdery, delicate, provocative, and chic. Lipstick On was one of the most favored perfumes of the Replica collection of Maison Martin Margiela. While a cherry-like red-reminding tone plays around the hyacinth and neroli in the top layer, the fragrance slightly grows towards a rice-powder smell that brings us back to the hey-days of old Hollywood. Iris and galbanum are responsible for the intoxicating powdery scent. Once completely settled on skin, tonka bean and vanilla make a glamorous sweetness out of the powder smell. Lipstick On is simply everything beautiful engages with femininity.

    Wish it was bigger

    Very overpriced but the seller is smart. It’s discontinued so they’re taking advantage of people who really want this scent. Would give 5 if price was more fair.

    I was not sure how I would feel about this one but I ended up loving it and bought a whole bottle based off the sample. On my skin it smells like a leathery, powdery Cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper. Longevity was pretty good with moderate projection

    Beautiful perfume

    When I first discovered this perfume, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it. Based on the notes it sounded like something I would enjoy, but then I saw it described as a powdery floral...I was worried that it would be too floral or too “perfumy”...It was neither. It starts of as a light floral, but it is not a perfumy floral or a grandma floral...but the dry down is amazing. It turns into a light gourmand. The tonka bean and vanilla really come alive, but it still keeps that hint of ‘waxiness’, hence the name. I always said I would never spend a large sum on an EDT, but I plan on purchasing a full bottle of this in the very near future. It is beautiful and light enough for every day, but still very distinct.
