Nathalie Lorson achieved this effect by making the spicy and earthy vetiver and the mysterious smoky powder undertone the dominant theme of the fragrance pyramid. “THE SMART SET” bouquet opens with a peppered bergamot and grapefruit duet which instantly invigorates you. The more reserved noble cedar needles and the piquant cloves make up the middle notes. The sweet yet fresh plum flesh merges perfectly with smoky modulations in the base accord and softens the middle notes.
Patchouli, faint coffee notes and the humid scent of vetiver complete the base accord. “THE SMART SET” wears well in the daytime. The perfume is recommended for the off-season, as it adapts to unpredictable weather and wears beautifully both on humid days and on cool and sunny days.
