    Rose Noir is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that reinterprets the classic rose with a dark, earthy twist. Released in 2008, this scent opens with a refreshing blend of grapefruit, freesia, red berries, and cardamom, creating a bright yet mysterious beginning. The heart reveals a decadent damask rose with spicy undertones, which gradually deepens into a darker character. A base of oakmoss and labdanum lends an earthy, leathery depth, capturing the gothic essence of a rose with a rich, shadowy allure.

    Gorgeous rose from Byredo

    Beautiful jammy rose with a well-balanced currant and sugar melon note. It's delectable enough that I purchased a whole 50mL bottle!

    Soapy, not very dark

    I was a bit disappointed in this one. The opening is quite soapy and it's very clean, not at all 'dark'. I was hoping for an earthier, maybe musky rose and this wasn't even close. It's not a terrible fragrance as I'm sure a lot of people love this one.

    Not A Fan

    This perfume smelled kind of like acetone to me. I'm only giving it 2 stars because it smelled marginally better than the other Byredo scents I ordered. Obviously scent preferences vary significantly from person to person, but I honestly don't know how Byredo sells any perfumes. Not a one of them smelled even a little good to me. They're all marketing, no quality, would not recommend.
