    Lao Oud by Bortnikoff is an Amber Woody fragrance for women and men.

    Lao Oud is a thick representation of Laotian oud wood. An ingredient of fine quality with immense power and characteristics. To enhance the olfactory profiles of the Laos agarwood, a shot of magnolia, chamomile, beeswax, and cacao powder infuse the heavy-duty blend of oud woods and coffee beans in the base. A coffee-like and animalic oud fragrance.

    Not for the faint of heart

    I love heady, woody, take-you-to-another-place-and-time scents, and this is one. For lack of a better description, Lao Oud reminds me of being in a hot, old barn’s hay loft on a summer day — there’s a grassiness and fresh sweetness to the bold, warm wood tones. It’s sexy and dark but also oddly comforting. I don’t find it too overbearing, but a little goes a long way. I’ve also found it to be layerable; I’ll add a touch of honey and orange blossom to bring out the beeswax and vanilla coffee notes and make it a bit more feminine. But no matter your gender, if you wanna smell like a roll in the hay, this is it. Thanks Scent Split!
