Overly strong and weird

Tried this because of a recommendation in a YouTube video. Glad I just got the 1ml because I’m throwing it away. Way too strong and weird. Two enthusiastic thumbs down.

Why they hype?!

This is an interesting fragrance, for sure! And I like that it takes different directions as it dries down, but it is so strong and specific that it’s likely off putting to some of those around you. It has great performance, but to the point where it doesn’t leave for days. I honestly began to feel unwell because I couldn’t escape it.

I made a mistake

I got a 2ml sample because everyone was going crazy about in online. Now I'm absolutely in love/obsessed with it and it's almost $400 :( So sad

Awkward dry down

Smells amazing when you spray it, and it lingers in the air. I have never had a perfume not smell good or the same when it dried down, but this one did not. Still worth a try if you are interested. Great vanilla scent that is not sweet. It pulled more spicy on me for some reason.

Don't Get The Hype

I've been hearing all over social media about how this fragrance is unique, complex, and hard to explain but is so good that I "won't regret it". Well, I live in an area where Macy's is our "high end" department store and there aren't that many niche brands in Macys to smell. So I'm so glad that I was able to get a sample from scentsplit. After hearing the hype, I decided to pay a bit more and get a 2 oz sample to give me more of a chance to use it and see if it's really worth buying a bottle. 1. I should've stuck to the 1 oz. 2. To my nose all I'm getting are notes of black pepper, even though that isn't one of the actual notes listed. I can't get over the sharpness. It's like I freshly cracked black pepper and it went up my nose. Very spicy smelling. I can't smell anything else. I'm glad I decided to sample it and not blind buy it. I wished I got the same experience as everyone else and loved Amouage Guidance, but to me it's no.
